Mystic Surrealism by Rigo Peralta @ Tropical Gallery

On Saturday, October 10, we had a tremendous opening of this exiting show.  The art-work of Rigo is truly impressive and everybody was in awe by the beauty of his paintings.

While listening to the cool jazz by Wayne Tucker and Thomas Larssen, playing a homage to Stan Getz, Gershwin and Brubeck, the guests talked to the artist and admired his work.



Some artist friends of Rigo showed up with some fun and impressive art-vans, one covered with brass masques, bells, turtles, etc., the other one covered in disposable cameras.

The arrival of these art vans marked the highlight of the evening attracting lots of people from Stanton Social and Arlene's Grocery, see the linked video on Facebook to give you a better idea on how cool these vans were:

The exhibit will last till October 21, 2009, even though a few paintings have been reserved, there are still a lot of paintings available for purchase.
