Art & Jazz @ Tropical Salon & TropicalGallery

Tropical Salon opened a small mini-gallery, next to the Salon; Tropical Gallery... we are inviting upcoming artist to exhibit their artwork in our Gallery.

We had a great inauguration of our Mini-Gallery on July 11, 2009, ukranian artist Nella Khanis exhibiting her art on mixed media.

Her paintings will stay on display till August 14, 2009, described as Naive Tropical Abstract has good reviews and good following as demonstrated by the comments we received from yesterdays visitors.

For the inauguration-party we had invited the trio of Cyrille Aimee, an accomplished Jazz Singer, accompanied by Wayne Tucker on trumpet and Guitarist Thomas Larsen, playing classic jazz pieces to more modern jazz, influenced by styles of brazilian Bossa Nova and the french Hot Jazz from Django Reinhard, Cyrille had everybody swinging!



So, we had a very cultural experience:

... art, jazz, wine & cheese in a peculiar setting...

We will organize at least one of these parties a month, so we will keep you informed.
